19.10.2010 ECOLOGICAL RESPONSIBILITY (e-News)
19.10.2011 Vihula Manor Country Club & Spa in the Lahemaa National Park in Estonia recently obtained “Green Key” certification. However, the full service manor resort is now taking its green commitment a step further. This autumn a number of ecological infrastructure facilities are being completed including a large sewage water cleaning station, geothermal heating systems, solar panels and wind generators. Vihula Manor Country Club & Spa is giving a direction for sustainably and ecologically responsible operations and will become the first large hotel, conference facility and resort on the whole Baltic Sea region, which will predominantly be powered with sustainable energy and which will be recycling its own sewerage water and waste. The guests at Vihula Manor can enjoy the beautiful surrounding nature in confidence that their stay will leave a minimal ecological footprint on it.
