Unique Hotels to celebrate World Cleanup 2012
World Cleanup 2012 (letsdoitworld.org) is almost upon us! This six-month project, beginning March 24th until September 25th, will see millions of people from across the globe do their part to clean up the world we live in. On every continent, people right now are planning a series of small “cleanups” – from homes to hotels – and if we all come together and do our little bit, we’ll make a huge difference.
On May 5th this year, Unique Hotels will do its part for World Cleanup 2012 by sending a team to Vihula Manor Country Club & Spa for a cleanup day and after-party. Best of all, you’re invited to join them!

Native Language Day, Useful Estonian Phrases
March 14th in the Estonian calendar is when the country celebrates the wonderful native Estonian tongue. Native Language Day, or Emakeelepäev in Estonian, is an important event that keeps alive the country’s important and ancient cultural heritage.
Estonia has a population of around 1.3 million, but only two-thirds speak Estonian as their first language. Estonian is therefore comparable to minority languages throughout Europe, such as Gaelic and Welsh, for numbers of everyday speakers. Because of this, Estonians are fiercely proud and protective of their mother tongue, and Native Language day is the perfect way to celebrate that.
